Description: Fragment of a Werra Slipware dish manufatured in Germany sometime between 1590 and 1625 and found in a shallow pit southwest of the dwelling house at Cupids. Red-brown sandy fabric with brown lead glaze over a pale green-yellow slip decoration on the inside of the dish.

Description: Tiny clay pipe bowl with rouletting around rim. It was made in England (probably London) sometime between 1620 and 1640 and found just southeast of Structure 2.

Description: Loin's face detail from a stoneware vessel (probably a jug) made in Raeren in what is now Belgium and found northeast of the dwelling house.
 

Name: "Little Ladell" clay tobacco pipe

Dimensions: Bowl Height: 27 mm; Bowl width: 12 mm (at rim).

Description: Extremely small bowl with no rouletting around the rim and a tear drop shaped heel. This clay tobacco pipe is typical of pipes manufactured in London between 1590 and 1610.
 

Name: Raeren Jug Fragment

Dimensions: Height: 74.7 mm; Width: 46.6 mm

Date Range: Circa 1600
Site: Cupids
Culture: European
Description: Rim fragment from a salt-glazed stoneware jug manufactured in the town of Raeren in what is now Belguim and found northeast of the dwelling house. Fragments of this or a similar vessel have been found elsewhere on the site. One fragment was found on the cellar floor inside the storehouse.
