| November 13, 1612 [at Green Bay/Bay de Verde]
The bark and shallop departed from Harts Content. Before night the bark doubled the Grates, and sayled between Baccalean and the main into the Bay of Conception, and as they sayled, they saw about a dozen stags upon the bare hills near Green Bay. After seven hours turning in the bay, we boar room with Green Bay to stay [wait] for the shallop and at II of the clocke at night, we anchored in the Easternmoste road of Green Bay.
